LB Tower Hamlets Arts Parks and Events Service has a vacancy for a commercial events support officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of London's most experienced and busiest local authority events teams. Currently hosting AEG’s All Points East Festival in Victoria Park and a host of other commercial activity large and small.
A full time (35 hours) fixed term contract for two years.
The Role:
To provide administrative and other support to the Festivals and Events Team in the management of commercial activity in our parks and buildings and delivery of Council events.
To help promote our venues and outdoor spaces to the commercial and private sector.
You should have experience of supporting large outdoor events, procurement systems and contracting. Also web maintenance and social media expertise will be an advantage with regards supporting the promotion of our spaces.
Based at the Brady Centre in Spitalfields/Whitechapel.

Additional requirements:
To be able to work flexibly including some evenings and weekends.
To be able to lift and move equipment and furniture.
