Curator Community Programmes,(Maternity Cover)

• Are you good at developing, planning and delivering activities with responsibilities for disability access?

Whitechapel Gallery is looking for a Curator – Community Programmes (Maternity Cover) and we are someone who can devise, manage and deliver the Community Programmes working alongside key local organisations, project partners and funders. The post holder will develop appropriate Programmes of activities, projects and resources with an aim to broaden access to art within and beyond the site of the Gallery. The Curator Community Programmes will be reporting to Director of Educations and Public Programmes.


Conditions of work
• Fixed term Maternity Contract for 12 months (starting from September 2019)
• Hours of work: 9.30am – 5.45pm, plus some occasional weekend and evening work, which will be compensated by time off in lieu
• Working Pattern: 4 days per week
• Starting salary: £21,600pa, actual £27,000pa
