Senior Participation Officer, English National Ballet

This role is offered on a 2-year fixed term contract.

About the role

As a Senior Participation Officer you will focus on:

• The project planning and management of multiple participatory projects within the Participation portfolio in London, across the UK and internationally.
• Working with Head of Participation to support the sustainable expansion of programmes

Your main responsibilities as Senior Participation Officer

• BalletActive: Contribute to the content development of the platform working closely with ENB’s Marketing team: Head of Digital and Digital Manager, focusing on artistic quality, content packaging and cost effectiveness to meet financial targets, working within content budgets provided.
• Produce schedules of artistic content, develop themes for re-packaging existing content, using subscriber behaviour data to inform content planning.
• Review and re-package ENB’s studio-based classes and courses, focusing on artistic quality, membership packaging and cost effectiveness to meet financial targets.
• Plan and manage the coordination and delivery of an annual in-theatre bitesize events season, in London, on tour nationally and internationally, as required.
• Support the Head of Participation to manage the coordination and delivery of audio described performances and touch tours in London and on tour.
• Build positive working relationships with all team members, internal and external contacts and stakeholders.

Key Selection Criteria

In order to be successful as a Senior Participation Officer you will need to have:

• Studied dance practice to a high vocational level.
• Strong working knowledge of classical ballet and dance practice and learning
• Demonstrated project management skills gained from working in the arts sector: ability to plan, execute and evaluate multiple projects/programmes on time and in budget.
• Skills in adapted and inclusive dance practices.
• Highly competent user of Microsoft Office suite with knowledge of digital dance online platforms and ability to learn new systems and databases.
• Excellent communication skills, with a high standard of written and verbal English.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external contacts.
