ABOUT CREATE
Create explores the ways in which artists contribute to the lives of people in cities. Our work is primarily focused in east London, home to more artists and art organisations than anywhere in Europe, and still one of the most economically deprived parts of the UK. Since 2012, we have supported artists to connect more closely with communities through an ambitious programme of projects. Working collaboratively informs everything we do and our projects are driven by artists, issues and places.
THE ROLE
The Development Co-ordinator is a new role within Create. Working with the Senior Team and fundraising consultants, the postholder is responsible for co-ordinating multiple income streams for the charity, as well as managing relationships with and reporting to funders and sponsors.
This role requires a detail-focused approach as well as a good understanding of reporting requirements and priorities of multiple funders. Also essential is an appreciation of the fluid and responsive nature of a small pioneering arts organisation.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Create is committed to promoting equal opportunities for all, irrespective of colour, race, religion or belief, caste, ethnic or national origins, gender, marital/civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, pregnancy, maternity, disability or age. This applies to recruitment, training, promotion and all other aspects of employment.
