Magic Me is the UK’s leading provider of intergenerational arts activities and a pioneer in creative arts with care home residents, with a 30+ year track record. Our arts projects challenge young and older people to stretch themselves and what they think they can do and be.
Magic Me has been awarded 3 years of public funding by Arts Council England, as we become one of their National Portfolio Organisations. From April 2023, this funding will support our ambitious programme of new work alongside growing our existing projects.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, with a strong connection to Tower Hamlets and the communities who live here. This job would be ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with people and partners across a range of sectors and experiences, and a passion for co-designing and delivering community projects that make a difference to individuals and communities.
Join us and play a key role in developing new strands of work with the Tower Hamlets community, leading to a local programme of intergenerational projects that offer fresh approaches and respond to the needs of the communities that live in our home borough.
Are you able to?:
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with project partners (e.g. schools, community /arts organisations, older people services, care homes) and participants?
- Work collaboratively with partners, artists and participants to co-design innovative community arts projects?
- Plan, deliver and evaluate projects on time, in budget?
- Build evaluation and monitoring plans for projects ensuring all requirements and take learning into future project plans?
- Line manage and support the development of our Community Arts Trainees?
